4th of July Celebration:
Monday, July 4, 2022

Featuring live music, patriotic pooch parade, patriotic face painting, pie-eating contest, food trucks, and Fireworks! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, canopies and picnic baskets and enjoy the festivities with us. The best places to see the fireworks at approximately 9:00pm are either Suzanne Park or the Suzanne Middle School Sport Field.

Important Information:
1. Alcohol, smoking, drones, personal fireworks, BBQ's grills or other cooking appliances are NOT allowed.
2. Plan to come early since there will be road closures around the park beginning at approximately 8:45 pm.

Music & Movies in the Park

The City of Walnut hosts free summer concerts in July. Bring a picnic complete with blanket and lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live entertainment. A nice selection of food is available for sale by local food trucks. Follow us on Facebook to find out which trucks will be in town at each concert.

Stay after each concert and enjoy a free movie under the stars at Creekside Park. Please note - it is recommended that all attendees wear mosquito repellent.

National Night Out & Concert in the Park:

Make plans to join us for the City’s Annual National Night Out and Concert event! This annual event is held to remind the Walnut community how we can prevent crime through neighborhood involvement. This citywide get-together is an opportunity for residents of Walnut to enjoy a great concert while getting to know the Mayor and City Council, fellow neighbors, as well as personnel from the Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff’s Station. Food Trucks will be on-hand selling delicious meals, snacks and other refreshments. Call 909-595-7543 for more information.

Kids’ Night Out
Third Saturday of every month
6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Walnut Teen Center
$19 per child/$15 per additional child from the same immediate family.

Do you need some extra time for yourself, but are wondering what to do with the kids? Sign them up for Kids’ Night Out! Children ages 5 to 12 years will enjoy an evening of fun with crafts, games, dinner, dessert, popcorn and movies. Each night will have a different theme! Please bring a sleeping bag or blanket to rest on during the movie. EXTENDED NIGHT OUT! Kids can enjoy another hour of fun with the Extended Night Out option. Note: Extended Night Out is for an additional fee. Dates subject to change.

Please be aware that these are for the department's use in future brochures, pamphlets or for local public access.
