Graffiti is vandalism done to private or public property in the City. Graffiti defaces the City and damages property values and the aesthetic value of the City. The City of Walnut has taken a strong stand against graffiti and cleans graffiti every working day just to keep up with the violators.
The City of Walnut recently passed an ordinance that makes the parents of minors found tagging equally responsible for all the claims for damages, fees incurred, and restitution caused by the minor.
To report graffiti in the City Request Service system or contact Community Services at (909) 598-5605.
If you see someone in the act of tagging, call the Sheriff’s Department at (909) 595-2264 to report the incident.
