The City of Walnut runs on a City Manager- Council form of government. The City Council is elected at-large for a four-year term and elections are held every even year. The City Council directs policy and votes on issues pertaining to the City’s residents and businesses. The City Council selects a City Manager to oversee the day to day operations and direct City staff.
