Council Member Cajulis and his family are long time Walnut residents having lived in the community for over 20 years. Before his appointment to the City Council in 2022, he served on the Parks and Recreation Commission.

As a community leader, Cajulis strives to help our city grow by building upon City services, preserving Walnut’s natural beauty, improving public and cyber security, and steering the development of a downtown area.

While serving as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner, he supported projects like the “Walnut Life Block Party” - an event showcasing small, local businesses and Diversity Plaza at Creekside Park. He also volunteers for the annual Walnut Family Festival.

Council Member Cajulis is also an active parishioner at Saint Lorenzo Ruiz Catholic Church. He volunteers in numerous ministries such as the adult basketball league, church ushers, church liturgical environment, and other special projects.

Cajulis has a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Don Bosco Technical College in Manila, Philippines. He currently works at a major law firm as an IT analyst.
